CBM UK increases its presence in Wales following the appointment of Sian Tesni as Country Manager.

Sian Tesni's appointment as Country Manager for Wales not only brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CBM of working in Special Needs education and Primary Ear Care services, but also brings a native Welsh speaker into the organisation.
As Country Manager, Sian is responsible for CBM UK's activities across Wales including hosting supporter events, meeting with major corporations, working with volunteers and friends groups, and leading fundraising activities.
In addition, Sian will be part of a Country Strategy Panel of volunteers which assists the Country Manager in raising awareness of CBM within Wales, advises on budgetary matters and encourages fundraising activities.
Sian is also Coordinator of the CBM Advisory Working Group on the Education of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind People, and a member of the CBM Advisory Working Group in Education. She has represented CBM on a number of International Disability bodies based at CBM's office in Bensheim, Germany.
Before joining CBM UK, Sian worked as a CBM co-worker in Papua New Guinea and with the CBM South Asia Regional Office - South (SARO-S).
Sian is married to Jasper and they have a son, Thomas-Arthur.
David Stevens, formerly the Country Manager for England and Wales, will now focus on his work as CBM Country Manager for England.
