Marathon Man raises funds for CBM
Peter Spoerer - Marathon Man!
Peter Spoerer a locum Optician in the Norwich area will be raising funds for CBM as a runner in the ING Amsterdam Marathon (on 21 October 2007 - the day before his 60th birthday!)
Peter worked as an optical consultant for CBM in Africa for many years. He set up optical workshops to support the work of the ophthalmologists and trained many locals to continue spectacle production.
His wife Sue is a pharmacist who still works for CBM evaluating 'local production of eye drop' units overseas. She enthusiastically promotes 'Friends of CBM' in Norfolk.
