A Shining Example
Children from 'The Ark' polished shoes to raise money for CBM UK.
The children from 'The Ark' - a group from St. Thomas's church in Worting, Hampshire - took part in the CBM Summer Special by cleaning shoes!
The church's congregation brought their shoes in over two consecutive Sundays and these keen shoeshiners set about polishing, cleaning and bringing a sparkle back to them.
Jacquie Marsh one of the leaders from "The Ark" told us that "The children had a super, if mucky, time and were pleased to do something to help raise more money for CBM".
CBM UK would like to thank the staff and children at "The Ark" as well as the congregation of St. Thomas' Church for helping the children to raise over £90.00 to date - a great feet/feat (!) ....and of course, a part of Hampshire now has some very smart footwear too.
