David Makes It Round
David Warwick has completed his 113 mile run around Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland!

David Warwick - recovering at the finish line.
His journey took in the biggest lough in the UK where he followed cycle routes from 1st until the 5th October with accommodation stops on his way round.
Legend has it that the Lough was created by Finn McCool (Fionn mac Cumhail), a giant from Antrim, who scooped out a clump of earth and threw it towards Scotland in retalliation to insults shoulted by Fingal - a giant of Scotland. The clump of earth that was scooped out (forming Lough Neagh) and thrown, landed in the sea and became what we now know as the Isle of Man.
Local Councillor, David Ford MLA, supported David as he came to the finish line.
His Dad, Frank, is registered blind, so David has always wanted to do something for blind people since he knows what it is like to care for someone.
