The World's Biggest Tea Party for Sight
Scotland played host to the World's Biggest Tea Party for Sight, as part of the World Sight Day 2007 awareness day on 11th October.
More than 30 groups up and down Scotland, from Inverness in the North down to Wigton in the South, invited their friends in for a great cup of tea (kindly supplied by The Co-Op Scotland) to help raise money for CBM.
Donations from the tea parties have so far reached an incredible £6,720 - that's a lot of cups of tea! More importantly though, these funds will go towards treating and supporting blind and visually impaired people living in some of the poorest parts of the world.
