Unisong performers collected £400 for CBM.

The Maltings Theatre in Berwick played host to a music, dance and big screen visual effects extravaganza when a fundraising musical took to the stage.

The performers - UNISONG, are a non-denominational group of more than fifty people from the Berwick-on-Tweed, Northumberland and Borders region with performers ranging from just 7 years through to 70 years old.

Here and Now

The group performed the musical 'Here and Now' which is based on the Beatitudes (part of the Sermon of the Mount) and was originally written by Rob Frost and Paul Field. They gave it a 'local flavour' and extended it to form a two hour production.

When explaining what inspired UNISONG to raise money for CBM UK, the show's producer, Martin Colam said "We chose CBM as a result of watching Trudie Goodwin's DVD - 'My Visit To Nigeria' - a very moving experience".

UNISONG raised a fantastic £400 for CBM through two performances of their show.
