Do you know the "Mission, Medics and Miracles" equation?

At first glance, (L&F) + O = M might not seem like a life-changing mathematical equation - but it is.

CBM's 2008 Lent and Easter Appeal is asking you to send us your 'loaves and fishes' to help us perform a cataract operation for every minute of 2008. In doing so, we will be providing many 'miracles' to people in the developing world who would otherwise have no means of receiving the gift of sight. So, as you can see (L&F) + O really does = M !!

Through your generosity, those who are cataract blind will be able to have the operation that they never thought they would be able to receive - and that surely just has to be a miracle!

By donating £20 (the equivalent of 50p per day during Lent!) you can give an adult or young person a cataract operation.
By donating £90 you can pay for a child to receive a cataract operation, with the additional special care that a child needs during treatment.
