Transform your love into life
Zuba and Emmanuel

Nine year old Emmanuel from Nigeria, gave up his schooling to look after his grandmother because she had been blinded by cataract, and was unable to care for herself.
Emmanuel loves his grandmother and cares for her around the clock because she can no longer see to attend to her goats, or clean her house, or tend her vegetable garden.
"I'm wholly dependent on my grandchildren. They're afraid I'll hurt myself by running into things. I want to have my sight restored so I can take responsibilites back", Zuba told us.
Emmanuel hopes that his grandmother's cataract blindness can be cured, allowing him to continue his education.
Zuba is just one of around 18 million people worldwide who have been blinded by cataract. She knows that she could have her sight back, but she simply doesn't have the £20 needed to pay for the surgery.
