CHILDREN OF WAR NEED YOUR LOVE AND HEALING

Haju was blinded when a landmine exploded. Donatia was raped, shot and left for dead by militia. The future for these two children, from their wounds alone, looked bleak.

Haju's Story

When Haju from Afghanistan was nine years old, a landmine exploded. The blast embedded shrapnel into his right eye, and caused a traumatic cataract to form in his left eye. He was blind.

So often in conflict situations it is the children, especially those who have a disability, who are the most vulnerable. With so many children exposed to conflict and hurting, it is now more than ever, that they need help - and they need to be shown love.

What Haju needed more than anything else was sight-restoring surgery and tender, loving care.

Thankfully, someone did help Haju - but there are so many other children with disabilities who need your help too.

Somebody just like you funded his medical care.

Haju and Donatia are just two of many children who are thrown into conflict, facing a near impossibile struggle to survive with their disability. Haju and Donatia were fortunate to receive medical help and loving care, but we need you to partner us in this life-changing work because together we can do more.

You can change the lives of these children of war.

So if you can, please help CBM by donating online - the fastest and most secure method to give the gift of love and healing.
