Donating (8)

We aim to respond to any donation over the value of £10 within two weeks, but at busy times this may take up to four weeks.

If you haven't heard from us within a month, please call our UK-based Donor Support Team on 01223 484700 to check that we have received your donation.

If you are making a donation via the telephone or by post, please request a receipt at this time.

If you have donated online, you will receive an automated receipt via email as part of the payment process.

Yes, you can make a donation using your credit, debit or CAF card by telephoning our UK-based Donor Support Team on 01223 484700, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.

You can donate on this website using your credit or debit card, or by using a Paypal account.

Our credit and debit cards are processed by RBS Worldpay and use PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standards. If you'd like to find out more about card security, you can read our Privacy Policy.

Alternatively you can donate online with a CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) card on the CAF website.

You can also set up regular giving using our secure and paperless e-Direct Debit service.

There are a number of ways that you can set up a direct debit with us: online; by telephone; or by post.

Our e-Direct Debit service puts you in control of your regular giving and is a cost-effective and paperless way to support our work.

You can contact our UK-based Donor Support Team on 01223 484700, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.

Alternatively, you can download our Direct Debit form (XXXXKb).

If you would like to support a specifc area of our work (e.g Training a Community Health Worker), you can do so at our Incredible Gifts Shop.

If your favoured type of work is not covered by the items in our shop, please contact our UK-based Donor Support Team on 01223 484700, who will be able to record your wishes and process your donation.

We can accept donations in any currency, but GBP is preferred as we have to convert non-Sterling (GBP) donations for which there is a cost to CBM.

CBM UK spends 9% of a donation on administration.

This administration cost helps CBM to ensure that the remainder of your gift is spent by carefully managed and structured programmes.

CBM re-branded in 2007 after careful research showed that CBM could work more effectively - at a fundraising and professional level if all of our membership associations used the same unified look.

Prior to our new brand, there were many different looks to CBM around the world - which gave the impression that there were lots of small charities competing with the same name.

If you are within the UK and would like one of our Country Managers to present to your community, please contact us.

You can contact CBM UK via email, by telephone and in writing.

As a result of our re-branding in 2007, we have changed our name from 'Christian Blind Mission' to 'CBM'.

This change does not mean that we have abandoned our Christian values, it simply reflects CBM's wider disability work, rather than just emphasizing blindness.

We are registered with The Charity Commission for England and Wales as charity number 1058162.

We are registered with The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator as charity number SC041101.

More information about our registration can be found at the Charities Commission and OSCR websites.
