CBM supporters organise a wide range of fundraising events throughout the year and all across the UK.
Some events are athletic (like running in marathons), whilst others are more relaxing (like coffee mornings or knit-a-thons). Some are very silly... but the main thing is that whatever you choose to do, make sure that it is fun, safe and legal.
However you choose to fundraise for us, remember the first three letters of 'fundraising'. Make sure that your event is 'fun' - either for you or for any spectators. Equally as important, make sure that your event is safe and well planned.

Collecting Sponsorship

By signing up to JustGiving.com, you can use their ready-made templates and donation system to reach out to a wide audience - not just your friends and family - but also to any of the 7+ million people who use the site to donate. They even process the Gift Aid - making it simple for you to get on with planning your event.

Spreading the word
Don't forget to tell us what you're planning to do as CBM will help publicise your event by adding it to our Events page, mentioning it in our e-news, talking to the media, and talking about it on various social networks.
If you're a user of social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace, you can also embedd a 'live' JustGiving.com totaliser into your profile, so that your friends can see how well you're doing.
If you are able to video or photograph your event, then we would love to share these online to show off your event and to encourage others to raise money too.
