Run a Marathon
Running in a sponsored event is one of the most popular and successful ways to raise money for charity.
Find out how you can sponsor a runner or take part in a run for CBM.
Fundraising
The first three letters of the word Fundraising gives you the perfect excuse to make your event enjoyable for you (or for others to watch/participate in).
Whether it's a coffee morning for your local group, a parachute jump, a marathon run or you fancy spending a day in a bath of cold custard, CBM encourages and supports people who wish to fundraise for us.
There's also the serious side to fundraising, which is about raising funds to help change the lives of others. Some fundraisers have set up events that enable participants to experience what it might be like for someone who has a visual or hearing impairment, with 'Dine in the Dark' and 'Wear Custom Glasses for a Day' events proving simple but poignantly popular.
Whatever you choose to do, CBM can help you with your event - take a look at our Fundraising page for more information.
Charitable Trusts
Our Trusts and Foundations Officer can help you if you are actively seeking projects to fund.
Corporate Fundraising

CBM UK has signed up to 'Ebay for Charity' with the well known online auction site Ebay and it's charity partner, MissionFish.
You are now able to sell your unwanted items online and choose to donate a percentage of the selling value directly to CBM! Alternatively, you can bid on items listed for sale, that will benefit CBM UK if sold.

Search the Internet
One of the easiest ways to raise money for CBM is simply to use a search engine.
The search engine, EveryClick raises money to charities every time that someone does a search and it costs you absolutely nothing for using their service.
Get Recycling!
Perhaps your printer cartridge has run out or you have a redundant mobile phone or PDA lurking at the back of a drawer? If you do, you can turn that trash into cash for CBM by sending them for recycling.
Go Shopping
If you shop online at HMV, eBay, Harrods, Boots The Chemist, John Lewis, Tesco, Amazon, Marks & Spencers and a whole host of other popular online stores, you can raise money for CBM at the same time, without costing you a single penny extra.
CBM have teamed up with Charity Shoppers so that every sale made via the links on our charity shoppers page will raise extra funds for CBM. So, start shopping now by visiting www.charityshopperscbm.com.

Become a 'Roving Rep' for CBM
We often need to be in two places at once. CBM needs volunteers willing to pop along to a primary school or church service to talk about disability, visit rotary clubs etc. CBM 'Roving Reps' are needed all over England and Wales, so if you feel that you can help us, contact David Stevens for more information.
