Everywhere you go, people are talking about reducing Carbon Footprints and Recycling but did you know that whilst doing your bit for the planet, you can also be doing your bit for charity too?

Your unwanted mobile phones, PDAs and empty printer cartridges can be turned into cash to help CBM across the world...and better still, it won’t cost you anything to recycle them!

CBM have teamed up with those expert recyclers at www.recyclingappeal.com with an aim to not only raise funds for our overseas projects, but also to do our bit for the environment at the same time.

Did You Know?

Only about 5% of all inkjet cartridges are actually recycled, the rest ending up in landfill sites.
For every toner cartridge donated, CBM will receive £2 and each inkjet cartridge will raise £1.
For every mobile phone donated, we will receive around £5.
Consumers in the UK replace their mobile phones on average every 18 months. It is estimated that there are close to 90 million mobile phones languishing in cupboards and drawers around the country. That’s a recyclable value of £450 million!

We are aiming to raise thousands of pounds through this appeal and look forward to you coming on board. Speak to your business/school/university and find out where your cartridges currently end up.

Here's how your recycling could help change the lives of hundreds of children

	Just £10 (or 10 recycled inkjet cartridges) is enough to provide 10 children with Vitamin A supplements, preventing blindness caused by a Vitamin A Deficiency.
	£30 (or 6 donated mobile phones) will provide medical and rehabilitative care for a child with Cerebral Palsy.

The Recycling Appeal can provide freepost bags or collection boxes and will collect items free of charge from your home or company.
