Gifts in kind - another way to give

An alternative to offering monetary donations is our very successful 'Gifts In Kind' scheme.
The scheme allows both large organisations and generous individuals to help provide essential equipment and goods to those who need it.
For example, this year alone we have received and distributed:
- Autoclaves and Sonic Cleaners from a very generous medical practice in Cambridgeshire
- Private care hospital beds from various Suffolk Trusts
- Eye medicines
- Medical and educational books from a variety of universities located in the UK
- A Carl Zeiss microscope from a medical practice in Scotland
- Spectacles from individuals and local opticians
- An anaesthetic machine
- Vehicles
How you can help
Gifts such as these provide our teams of surgeons, doctors, ophthalmologists and other medical staff with the equipment they need to protect, treat and educate communities in developing countries who are living with or at risk of disability. As a result, we can be sure that these communities continue to be supported in a sustainable way.
Please consider CBM when disposing of any surplus equipment or drugs. This surplus could make a big difference in the lives of people in the countries where we work. Gifts like these allow our team and partners to continue providing care, education, rehabilitation and livelihood opportunities to people with disabilities and those at risk of disability, along with their communities.
CBM will arrange and cover all transport and onward shipment costs for all donations.
