Legacy Officer
We are seeking an experienced fundraising Legacy Officer to implement our strategic plan for Legacy Fundraising.
You will work with our Head of Fundraising and our England & Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland Representatives to develop and implement our 5 year plan to obtain funds from Legacies.
You will identify existing and potential Legators and manage the Legacy Database. You will develop strategies and resource material. You will be the first point of contact for pledgers, solicitors and other parties involved in the administration of bequests and ensure appropriate levels of donor care and support from the Organisation are carried out.
You will need to have:
- Experience in Legacy Fundraising
- Good communication and IT skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- A flexible approach to work
- Willingness to travel as part of the job
- Ability to devise and produce legacy information packs
- Ability to work within agreed budgets
- Commitment to the ethos and values of CBM
