The Joseph Taylor Scholarship
CBM UK is proud to offer the Joseph Taylor Scholarship to Christian medical students of ophthalmology attending UK centres of learning.
There are up to four scholarships of £500 available each year for successful applicants who should be in their clinical years. Their elective should be in an African church and/or mission hospital for a period of at least six weeks and should include some time studying eye diseases.
How to apply for the scholarship
1. Download and complete the Joseph Taylor Scholarship Application Form (22.5Kb) in Microsoft Word .doc format.
2. Print out a paper copy and post it to us with your CV and a covering letter at:

3. You must also email a copy of your application to info@cbmuk.org.uk with 'Joseph Taylor Scholarship' in the subject line.
If awarded the scholarship, you must write a report of the elective within one month of returning home to the UK.
The closing date for applications is the 31st of May each year, and any applications received after this date will be considered at the next year's closing date. Successful applicants will be notified after the annual closing date.
