Players from Crusaders FC with David Warwick.

David, whose recent fundraising events included a run around Lough Neagh, put his trainers on once again for a 'footy marathon'.

His event saw him run 2 miles in laps round the outside of the pitches of teams in the I.F.A (Irish Football Association): Crusaders FC, Dungannon Swifts, Linfield FC, Cliftonville Football and Athletic Club, and Institute.

Afterwards David said "[It] has been great visiting the different clubs in Northern Ireland getting good weather and the support of the IFA, Clubs, Management, Staff and Players".

"I know how hard it can be for people who are visually impaired to live their day to day lives", he added, referring to his own father who is registered blind.

Last year, David was presented with a 'Royal Mail 1st Class People Award' for his services to fundraising, by television star Lorraine Kelly.
