A provider of eye health care to Southwest DRC, the Republic of Congo, and Angola.

The Hôpital Evangélique de la Communauté Evangélique de l'Alliance au Congo Kikonzi (CEAZ) eye department is part of a Christian Alliance Mission Hospital based in the southwest of the country.

The projects covers a catchment area of around 636,000 inhabitants but the project also receives patients from its neighbours - the Republic of Congo, and Angola.

The local population is extremely poor and depends on subsistence farming and commerce. The infrastructure is also poor due to the impact of war.

The project is providing essential outreach services as well as running an eye drop production unit.
