A programme providing a comprehensive range of services to people with physical and visual impairments.
This community-based rehabilitation (CBR) programme covers a population of around 400,000 people, to which it provides outreach campaigns and rehabilitative services.
The programme supports a school for deaf children as well as a small eye health care unit which runs regular consultation and surgical sessions.
It actively works with other service providers to promote the CBR approach as a viable way to provide treatment and support to people with disabilities.
