The students participate in a varied programme of seminars and workshops ranging from seminar topics such as HIV/AIDS, through to training in 'Tie and Dye' textile production.
The school also participates in inter-school sporting activities with 'hearing' schools, with staff noticing improvements in their students' mental, physical, social and emotional well-being.
Vocational training is offered in computer skills, hair styling, knitting, tailoring, carpentry and joinery. Students who complete these courses are able to sit for Government Trade Test Examinations, and the school has a high success rate.
The school also runs an agricultural project which has been successful enough for the school to become self-sufficient in milk production and poultry.
In 2010, the school began providing Kenyan Sign Language (KSL) classes to parents and carers of children with hearing impairment.
