Supported since 1978, the Kerugoya School for the Deaf is a primary school at the base of Mount Kenya.
The school performs very well in primary school examinations and excels in sport. Many students continue their education into secondary school.
The school provides vocational training in a range of skill sets including carpentry, joinery, and tailoring.
CBM recently funded the reconstruction of classrooms, dormitories, an administration block, and a vocational training block.
