Arpana Research and Charities Trust

A major provider of eye health care services to the poorest rural communities in Haryana State.

Supported by CBM since 1982, the Arpana Research and Charities Trust, located just North of Delhi, provides eye health care services within a range of community health programmes.

The project, which is based in Arpana Hospital and serves the poor and under privileged of around 40 villages, has eight centres with fixed screening camp dates each month. The project's eye department is well equipped for routine cataract work as well as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy treatment.

The project has always maintained a good level of quality, transparency and accountability with two highly qualified and experienced chartered accountants and thirteen other trained personnel on staff.
