Supported by CBM since 2004, the Low Vision Programme, based in Chihuahua, reaches out to a population of three million people.
It offers a comprehensive service including early detection and intervention of eye related health conditions.
The programme also offers rehabilitation including orientation and educational counselling, enabling children and young adults with low vision to access the best opportunities available to them with their remaining sight.
CBM's partner on this programme also works closely in collaboration with local government, ministry of health and education, and the National Society of Ophthalmology.
