Training Department, Nairobi

The trainings department for Central Africa has been set up to better co-ordinate international training. This department organises, co-ordinates and implements training programmes at international levels.

CBM's emphasis is on partner development so that, over time, our partners can grow and develop and therefore reach communities and those at need with high quality services.

Training is essential. CBM collaborates with around 700 partner organisations in developing countries from around the world. The transfer of knowledge and skills, both professional and managerial, contributes to the development of our partners.

Training supported in 2009 includes: Orthopaedic training in Malawi, and Orthopaedic Surgeon training at the University of Nairobi.

Project Needs

This project still needs around £28,000 of funding to ensure that it can continue to provide training for these much needed skills.
