This school for children with hearing impairments is based in Antananarivo - the capital of Madagascar. The school was built in 1985 with CBM funds in collaboration with the Malagasy Lutheran Church.
This is the only school with secondary level education available for deaf students in Madagascar. The school accommodates 130 students, 40 of whom are boarders. The school also offers basic vocational training in carpentry, needlework and tailoring.
Project Needs
This project needs the following items which, through your donations, can be provided by CBM.
- Salary for a Teacher: £45.00 per month
- Salary for a Cook: £25.00 per month
