Juba Teaching Hospital

Juba Teaching Hospital (JTH) eye unit was re-established in 2002 in collaboration with the Academy of Medical Science and Technology (AMST), Khartoum.
After the peace agreement between Northern and Southern Sudan, ownership of the JTH shifted to the Ministry of Health of the Southern Sudan in 2005.
The JTH is the only secondary eye unit in Southern Sudan and serves as an immediate catchment area of an estimated 1 million people.
