Kola Ndoto Hospital Eye Department

Kola Ndoto Hospital is located in remote North West Tanzania and provides general medical and surgical care. It also has a dedicated eye unit which includes a 24 bed eye ward and an equipped eye theatre.
The hospital is the oldest one under the Africa Inland Church of Tanzania and it is situated about 15Km north of Shinyanga town.
The hospital is well accessible by road and is able to conduct over 7,000 cataract consultations each year. The project has one ophthalmologist and one cataract surgeon.
