The Jairos Jiri (JJ) Vocational Training Centre for people with disabilities is located in Mzilikazi - a suburb of Bulawayo. Bulawayo is the second largest city of Zimbabwe and is located in the South West part of the country.

The centre is run by Jairos Jiri, a local non-governmental organisation which was founded in 1950. It caters for the need of people with all kinds of disabilities throughout the country.

It provides 2 year training programmes in Carpentry, Clothing Technology, and Secreterial Studies - all of which are government approved. Further courses in Business Studies, Braille, Basketry, Leathercraft, Metalwork and Switchboard Operation are also offered. The present enrolment is 80.

Out of a population of around 12.5 million people in Zimbabwe, it is estimated that 375,000 people have a disability, which represents approximately 3% of the total population.
