Projects in 2010

CBM UK's annual review of project funding has now taken place.

This section of our site will be revised shortly to reflect our new portfolio of partner projects in 2010.

Choose a region from the options below to find out more about the projects funded by CBM UK supporters.

Overseas Programme

CBM works in more than 90 countries, supporting more than 900 projects in partnership with local organisations. It is estimated that we reach out to around 20 million people in the developing world each year.

We aim to provide medical care, education and rehabilitation to as many blind, low vision, deaf and physically disabled people as possible.

We would find this very difficult without our project partners - a network of national and local organisations (governments, associations, churches etc) across Africa, Central and Southern America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

Together we can do more than just provide treatment - our aim is to leave a sustainable legacy that will help protect, treat and educate communities who face living in poverty with or at risk of disability. With our own team of surgeons, doctors, ophthalmologists and other medical staff working on projects around the world, we can be sure that communities receive long-lasting support.

For further information regarding our projects, please contact Laura Townsend, our Overseas Programmes Officer.

Requests for Funding

CBM UK and its partners carefully manage their projects and therefore, we do not provide funding to individuals or organisations outside of our established programmes.

If you would like to inquire about resources available to you or your organisation in your country, please contact your local CBM Regional Office.
