Dr. Somervell Memorial Hospital is 80km SouthWest of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and is run by the Church of South India. The project is involved in Tsunami relief work in the villages such as Mullurthurai, Ramanthurai and Colachal in the Kanyakumari District.

The hospital provides medical services such as surgeries, a mobile eye clinic and the treatment of trauma patients through the Special Health Programme. In addition, it also provides rehabilitation services such as vocational training, provision of boats - which aims at economic independence, construction of houses, scholarship to students, awareness promotion and the formation of 'Self Help' groups. Psychological Counselling is also a part of their activities.
