This project is located in Robertsganj in Uttar Pradesh. CBM supports comprehensive community eye care services through the eye local eye department. It serves a very poor and needy population, covering a large part of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Western Bihar.
The eye services are well known and patients from as far away as 250Kms prefer to travel to this hospital for their surgeries.
In 2006, the department saw more than 23,000 eye patients and more than 5,000 patients were seen through outreach work.
