Thank You!

Class 2 at Kerugoya School. © CBM

Your support for CBM has really made a difference. Students at the Kerugoya School for the Deaf in Kenya have shown their appreciation for their new classrooms and facilities which your money has helped us construct. CBM is also funding the training of teachers and parents to communicate in sign language.

We Love You CBM !

It's clear from the messages of thanks that we have received, just how grateful the children are for your support:

"..thank you most sincerely for making us to learn in new permanent classes, keeping us away from ants. We feel so happy and comfortable. May the good Lord bless you all". - The Nursery Class

"We are now in our new classroom. We feel so good that we may not be able to express our joy. We love you CBM". - Class One

"We want to thank you most sincerely for your concern and care shown by sponsoring the building of our school. We are very happy to learn in the new classes which are wonderful. God bless you for everything". - Class 3

"We, members of Infant Class, are very very happy for the good help you have given our school. We are happy to learn in the new classes. May God bless you". - Infant Class

About the School

An extensive construction programme has taken place at the school, providing the children with improved facilities. CBM and the Catholic Church Diocese of Murang'a will continue to fund Phase 2, with the construction of a dining hall and recreation areas. The children hope to thrive and progress to secondary school education which will help to equip them with the skills the need to lead full lives.

To achieve this, the children rely on your continued support. To find out more about supporting the school or any of our other projects, please visit the Projects section of our site.
