Vision 2020
"Vision 2020 : The Right to Sight" is a global collaboration of the World Health Organisation (WHO) with an international coalition of eye care organisations, including CBM, who are committed to the elimination of avoidable blindness worldwide by the year 2020.
- Did you know that every 5 seconds, someone in the world goes blind?
- Did you know that a child goes blind every minute?
- Did you know that almost half of the children who go blind will die within two years of losing their sight?
These are the sad facts that CBM and other eye care organisations are jointly trying to change by eliminating avoidable blindness by the year 2020. With your help, can achieve this.
