Free people like Masu from the threat of River Blindness – for good.

Just £6.50 a month could help distribute sight-saving medication for people in rural communities.

Masu, from West Africa, went blind at the age of 22. He was a good student and dreamed of studying medicine. But with the loss of his sight he was forced to abandon his dream.

River blindness has left Masu completely blind. He is one of over 50 million people in Nigeria who live with the reality and threat of this cruel disease.

It doesn’t have to be this way. With a small monthly gift you can help prevent river blindness. Will you help free people like Masu and his family from a life of blindness?

Caused by a parasitic worm, river blindness is a slow and debilitating disease. It is transmitted by the bite of a black fly and releases worms into the body. Eventually they reach the eye and scar the cornea. It’s a terrible way to go blind.

With your help, we want to make sure that people like Masu and his children have long-term access to medication and support that will p halt the disease before it reaches the eye.

With your g regular gift, we can provide the ongoing drug distribution that will protect entire communities from this cruel disease.

How your monthly gift can make a difference:

  • Your gift of £6.50 a month could help to train Outreach Volunteers to distribute and safely administer sight-saving medicine to people in rural communities
  • For £9.40 a month you could protect 700 people like Masu from contracting river blindness.
  • And if you could give £13.40 a month, you could protect the sight of an entire village of 1,000 individuals, transforming the lives of the world’s poorest people.

Giving by regular gift is easy and straightforward.
