Children like Mathias are living needlessly blind

In some of the world’s poorest places, children like Mathias are living in darkness. At ten years old, Mathias is still in nursery school because he struggles to see the blackboard and the book he is writing in. No child should become blind just because they are poor.
It’s wrong, but there is a solution.
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - 10/5/16 - Dr Sonia Vaitha prior to performing cataract surgery on Lucy Matonya, born 2009, at CCBRT (Project number 1941) in Dar es Salaam on October 5, 2016.

Your gift will help save a child’s sight
