Kirsty shortlisted for Charity Times Awards

CBM UK Chief Executive Kirsty Smith has been shortlisted for Charity Principal of the Year in the Charity Times Magazine Awards (open link in new tab), recognising her inspiring leadership and commitment to transforming the lives of people with disability, their families and communities in the world’s poorest places.

A values-driven leader who is passionate about building a fairer, more inclusive world, she drives CBM to practical success whilst keeping our ethos at the heart of our work.

As well as leading CBM UK, Kirsty has been acting Chair of CBM’s International Leadership Team since 2018, responsible for the global CBM federation whose programmes help over 30 million people annually.

The Charity Times Magazine Awards, run by Charity Times Magazine, celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. This year’s winners will be announced on 2 October 2019.
