An invitation to your church to share in an eye-opening Sunday...
Christian Blind Mission Sunday which takes place on 15 October 2017 is a new initiative to help churches learn, pray and fundraise to prevent blindness and help people who struggle to see in the world’s poorest places.
By taking part in Christian Blind Mission Sunday, your church can help give the precious gift of sight to children in Africa who struggle to see - and open up a wonderful world of possibilities for them and their communities.
From Rt Rev David Williams, Bishop of Basingstoke:
"Christian Blind Mission, through its Partners, works towards a world when all people are included and are set free from the cycle of poverty and disability in order to fulfil their potential and enjoy their God-given human rights. I therefore commend Christian Blind Mission to you and your church and encourage you to get involved."

Joseph, 10, struggled at school because of his vision problems. Since CBM's partner provided glasses and a special telescope to help him see the blackboard, he's gone straight to the top of his class and dreams of becoming a doctor!
