Big Give Christmas Challenge

The Big Give Christmas Challenge is back!

Donations made on the Big Give website from 12pm on Tuesday 3 December to 12pm on Tuesday 10 December will be DOUBLED.

A precious gift from you can transform children’s lives this Christmas

Unable to see clearly due to cataracts in both his eyes, Aanand struggled to keep up in school, and even simple joys like playing marbles with his friends became impossible.

Aanand has high hopes for his own future. He told us, “After studying, I want to become a doctor. I want to fix the eyes of other children.”

Doubled gifts mean:

  • Twice as many cataract operations
  • Twice as many pairs of glasses for schoolchildren
  • Twice as many people gifted a brighter future

All thanks to your generosity!

I just want him to have his sight back. I want him to see properly and clearly.

Your gift doubled

Your donation will help us reach our biggest target yet, £50,000. If we meet our target this will be doubled to become an incredible £100,000 that will help set thousands in the world’s poorest places free from avoidable blindness.

You can be part of the miracle children and families like Aanand wish for.

Save sight today

Blindness makes it more likely that children like Aanand will miss out on opportunities like education, and playing with friends.

Around half of all blindness is caused by cataracts, where the lens of the eye becomes cloudy. Simple surgery can treat cataracts for as little as £24 for an adult or £95 for a child.

A donation made this week will be doubled, when made through the Big Give website.
