Broadcaster Gyles Brandreth supports our Christmas Miracles appeal

We’re proud to have broadcaster and author Gyles Brandreth support our sight-saving Christmas Miracles appeal this year.

Gyles Brandreth and his wife have been passionately supporting our sight-saving work for over 20 years! Their mission is clear: no child should have to face a lifetime of blindness just because their family is poor.

Kyle is standing in a dark room. Kyle has cataracts.

7-year-old Kyle is like any other child – he is full of energy and enjoys going to school. The only difference is that he is living needlessly blind.

Kyle’s parents noticed white dots in his eyes after he had an accident with a stick. Kyle had cataracts.

Cataracts can be treated with simple surgery that can cost as little as £24 and, in most cases, can restore sight almost immediately.

Gyles Brandreth says:

“This Christmas, I’m proud to support CBM’s Miracles appeal, restoring sight to children like Kyle living needlessly blind in the world’s poorest places. Too often, treatment is simply out of reach because their families can’t afford to pay for it. I hope you’ll consider joining me this Christmas in supporting CBM, so that more children can have their sight restored, go to school, follow their dreams and live a life full of opportunity.”

Join Gyles today to bring hope to children living needlessly blind in the world’s poorest places.
