Bandana’s story

Six-year-old Bandana from Nepal, South Asia, was born with cataracts in both of her eyes;  unable to clearly see her parents’ faces. Her mother Lila told us: “I discovered Bandana’s eye condition right after she was born, because we have no money, we were not able to afford treatment.” The money you raise could help children like Bandana receive the sight-saving surgery that will enable them to transform their future, see their loved ones, play with friends and gain an education. Your support will have a long-term impact and will men that families like Bandana’s and Lila’s have the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and disability.
