You’re invited to take part in Inclusion Matters, a campaign celebrating the power of inclusion and the everyday actions we can all take to help create a world where everyone can participate fully.

At CBM UK, we know that lasting change happens when people with disabilities are listened to, valued and included in every part of society. That’s why, throughout August, we’re sharing stories and insights from our implementing partners, our staff, and project participants themselves to explore what inclusion means to them and why it matters.

The campaign – called ‘Inclusion Matters’ – spotlights four areas of CBM’s work: women and girls, education and young people, mental health, and climate. It’s a chance to hear first-hand how disability inclusion transforms lives and communities, and discover why creating a more inclusive world is everyone’s responsibility.

How to get involved

You can add your name to the Inclusion Matters campaign and join a growing community of people who believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate fully in society. Together, we’ll show that inclusion matters and that we all have a role to play in breaking down barriers.

You can also request your free Inclusion Guide. Filled with practical, easy-to-follow ideas, the guide offers simple ways to make everyday life more inclusive at home, in the workplace and in your community. Whether it’s thinking differently about communication, accessibility or welcoming others, small actions can have a lasting impact.

Follow the campaign

We’d also love you to follow the campaign on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. Here you see videos and hear directly from people with lived experience and those working alongside them. You can help amplify their voices by liking, commenting on and sharing the videos with your own networks.

By taking part in Inclusion Matters, you’ll not only learn more about disability inclusion – you’ll be helping to build a movement that challenges barriers, changes attitudes and supports CBM UK’s vision of a world where people with disabilities can enjoy their rights and fulfil their potential. Together, we can show that inclusion really does matter.
