What is Gift Aid and how does it work?
When you donate to CBM UK, you help transform the lives of people with disabilities living in the world’s poorest communities. But did you know your donation could go even further?
By simply ticking a box, you can increase the value of your gift by 25% – without spending another penny.
This is possible through Gift Aid – a government scheme that allows charities like CBM UK to reclaim the basic rate of tax on your donation. That means for every £1 you give, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC. So a £20 gift becomes £25. A £40 gift becomes £50. And all at no cost to you.

How to add Gift Aid to your donation
If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can say “yes” to Gift Aid when you make your donation online, by phone or post. Once you’ve given us permission, we can claim Gift Aid on your donations past, present and future.
