The Big Give Christmas Challenge runs from 3 December until 10 December. During this time, every donation to our Christmas appeal via the Big Give website will be match funded until we reach our target of £50,000! So every £1 you give becomes £2 – helping even more children living needlessly blind in some of the world’s poorest places, to see again and to look forward to a brighter future. Thank you.

We know times are tough for many people, but every donation, big or small, helps us to continue our work providing sight-saving surgeries and treatments to men, women and children living in some of the world’s poorest places.
Since 2019, thanks to your amazing support, we’ve raised over £267,000 through the Big Give to bring sight and hope to thousands of people living needlessly blind. We couldn’t do it without you – thank you!
Meet Aanand from Nepal
Aanand, age seven, has been living needlessly blind from cataracts – a condition that can be easily treated with a simple surgery. But like so many families living in poverty, Aanand’s family couldn’t afford the surgery to restore his sight.
No one should lose their sight just because they’re poor. Yet in some of the world’s poorest places, children like Ananad go needlessly blind because they can’t access the care they need.
By supporting CBM’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, you can help children like Aanand regain their sight, giving them a chance to go to school, play, and dream of a brighter future.
