Involve your church or community

“The deed of love is the sermon everyone understands.”

Ernst Christoffel, founder of CBM

Your church can play a vital role in transforming lives in the world’s poorest communities. Whether through prayer, fundraising or raising awareness, your church can make a lasting impact.

Ways your church can get involved:

Pray – Join us in praying for our life-changing work and the people we serve.

Fundraise – Organise events, collections, or special services to raise vital funds.

Spread the word – Share our vital work with your congregation and inspire action.

Together, we can bring hope and opportunity to people with disabilities.

Get in touch today to find out how your church can make a difference.

“I’m delighted to celebrate World Sight Day again this year and honour the music of blind composer Louis Vierne. From personal and professional experience, I know how vital support and medical care are for visually impaired people—especially in the world’s poorest countries. Many cases of sight loss are preventable, so I hope more people will support charities like CBM UK that help protect sight and improve lives.”

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

For over 40 years, people from St James’ have been involved in CBM’s work, with more than seven former and current members serving as volunteers or staff. We understand and deeply appreciate the work CBM does to encourage local Christian groups to serve some of the most disadvantaged in their communities.
