CBM relies heavily on the income received from generous legacies left by supporters like you. Imagine the joy of giving sight to a child who was blind from birth, or enabling a person with clubfoot to take their first independent steps.
CBM's vision is to have a world free from unnecessary blindness; and where blind, visually impaired and other disabled people realise their full potential and rights. Where they can meet their needs within an inclusive society - please help us to achieve this by leaving a gift in your will to CBM.
We'd love to hear from our supporters, so please don't hesitate to contact me - David Rootham.
You can download our free resources below, or alternatively place an order for them (including a Legacy DVD) to be posted to you.
We can offer help and support whether you're making your first Will or updating an existing one.
We've teamed up with solicitors across the UK to provide a discounted Will Writing Service - allowing everyone the chance to create or update their existing Will at a significant discount on their normal prices.
Please state that you are applying for the, "CBM supporter Will Discount Scheme," when making an appointment or alternatively contact me, David Rootham at CBM in Cambridge and I will put you in touch with one of the companies participating in the scheme:

The majority of people who use the "Discounted Will Service," leave a gift in their Will to CBM. There's no obligation to do so, but we very much hope you'll use this opportunity to make a gift of a lifetime to support the future of some of the most marginalised people in the world.
A gift in your Will for CBM can come after you provide for your family and can help more people than you ever thought possible in your lifetime; and leaving a percentage of your estate to charity has tax advantages too.
Where will it all go?
So far, legacies to CBM have funded the cost of building new eye clincs, allowed eye operations, trained doctors to prevent disabilities or cure impairments, and transformed every life they touch.
For example, the school children of Tanzania will be receiving eye screening as part of a project to reach over 1 million children in East Africa. This work is part funded from a gift in a supporter's Will.
CBM and the people we reach are extremely grateful for the caring supporters who include a gift in their will to further our lifesaving work.
Tina Jenkin passed away last year after a long battle with cancer, scolisis and osteoporosis. Tina had a great concern for those with little, and supporting CBM and leaving a gift in her will thrilled her and bought comfort.
We hope her story inspires many others to consider including a gift in their will to CBM of any size, to provide vital lifesaving support to the world's poorest people.
