We are delighted to announce that Gill Godber from Cambridge has won the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising! This recognition highlights Gill’s exceptional dedication to CBM’s work over the last 16 years. Gill has been actively involved in various community events across Cambridge and beyond, including fun runs, tea parties, and musical events, to help raise funds for people with disabilities living in some of the world’s poorest places.

“I am deeply honoured to win this award. CBM has always been a passion of mine, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the difference we can make together. This recognition is not just for me but for everyone who has supported my fundraising efforts over the years. Partnership is key to my fundraising – thank you,” said Gill.

The Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s Volunteer of the Year award honours individuals who have demonstrated outstanding voluntary service and made a significant impact through their efforts. Winning this award is a testament to Gill’s hard work and passion for CBM.

All the team at CBM, along with supporters and other volunteers, extend their congratulations to Gill for this well-deserved recognition.
