Paralympian Anne Wafula Strike champions CBM UK’s Every Girl, Everywhere campaign

Posted on: Monday, August 12th, 2024

Paralympic wheelchair racer, disability activist and CBM UK Ambassador, Anne Wafula Strike adds her voice to our Every Girl, Everywhere campaign to ensure that every girl, everywhere has the opportunity to go to school.

Growing up with a disability in Kenya, Anne knows firsthand the discrimination and barriers that girls with disabilities face at school. Motivated by her own personal experience, Anne is delighted to lend her voice to our campaign.

“As a Christian I am motivated to support the work that CBM UK is doing because I believe that everyone matters despite their disability, the environment, or the community you come from.”

Anne shares her own story and explains why our Every Girl, Everywhere campaign matters to her in our exclusive film:

Every Girl, Everywhere

Millions of children with disabilities are missing out on school today, and most of them are girls. We want to create lasting change for girls with disabilities through the power of education so that every girl, everywhere can go to school, dream of a bright future, and flourish. We are very grateful to our corporate partner Ebury for kindly sponsoring the film.
