Haova

Haova sat inside her home, smiling.

Haova is a mother of three who has a physical disability, which means she relies on her children to collect water and walking is painful. For months, she has been struggling to provide food for her family, who have been surviving on sweet potato and cassava leaves.

Thanks to your generosity, Haova can now feed her children – and also earn a living to support them in the future.

Thanks to assistance from CBM and our local partner, she has set up a small business making doughnuts that she sells in her village and has been able to purchase a laying hen to provide eggs. Despite the current difficulties, she is hopeful for the future.
