Help people See the Way to a brighter future this Christmas –and your gift will have twice the impact!
Today we are relaunching our See the Way appeal (open link in new tab)– and until 17th December 2020, the UK government will match your donations to the appeal, so every pound has double the impact!
Every day, people in the world’s poorest places become needlessly blind because of conditions that can be easily treated – but you can help them See the Way to a brighter future this Christmas. Until 17th December 2020, your gift could fund twice as many sight-saving surgeries, pairs of glasses or eye-health outreach activities in the world’s poorest places, as the UK government will double every pound you give.
These vital services can transform the lives of people with sight problems living in poverty, enabling them to get around safely, go to school, earn a living and support their families. Donations will also help train health workers, equip hospitals and strengthen eye health systems for the future, helping build communities where nobody is needlessly blind.

Our See the Way appeal was originally launched on 12th February and was due to continue to 12th May. But on 9th April 2020, after much prayerful consideration, we paused the appeal to focus on protecting the most vulnerable people and supporting our partners during the Coronavirus pandemic.
But we are still as committed as ever to building a world where nobody is needlessly blind and we’re delighted to relaunch the appeal.
To mark the start of our appeal, we’ve got an exciting online event with Diane Louise Jordan!
Former Blue Peter and Songs of Praise presenter Diane will speak about the impact of sight loss on her family and a life-changing trip to Rwanda with CBM at our free online event on 13 November at 7pm. Register now here (open link in new tab).
