Ebury fundraise to transform lives in the world’s poorest places
Staff at financial exchange company, Ebury have raised over £4,000 to help transform the lives of people with and at risk of disabilities, and their families, in the world’s poorest communities.
Ebury, who have been CBM’s currency exchange partner since 2013, organised a fundraising day on 21st September where they asked staff to take part in a 5k, 10k or 15k sponsored running race through the streets of London to raise money for CBM UK. Ebury kindly matched all staff donations on the day, raising an incredible £4000!
Bettina Galsan, CBM UK’s Philanthropy Officer, who attended the fundraising day at Ebury said: “
We are so grateful for Ebury’s generous support for CBM UK. They gave it their all to organise a creative, fun, and energetic run for CBM – what a day and what an incredible amount raised! We are looking forward to continue joining forces with Ebury to transform the lives of people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places.”
Maria Lapucci, Head of Environmental, Social and Governance at Ebury said:
“At Ebury, we believe in the power of giving and making a difference in the world. We are proud to launch this fundraising campaign for CBM UK, an organisation that does significant work for the world’s poorest people, particularly those with disabilities in the world’s poorest places. They strive to improve quality of life and alleviate suffering, providing practical help and enabling people to transform their own lives. We deeply admire their mission, and we are fundraising to support their efforts. Every donation will help CBM UK continue their valuable work and bring hope to those in need. Join us in this mission, because every little bit counts, and together, we can make a real impact.”
Thank you, Ebury!
